i’m a peace corps nominee for an africa placement, browsing about the blogs to get a feel for things! i’ve got a question for you, if you wouldn’t mind answering it…
frankly, i’m seeing if i can somehow deduce which country my placement could possibly be for. i’m not particularly concerned about it, but my family is prepared to give some pushback on my decision to serve depending on the country. it’d be nice to have some time to assuage their fears about a country if i had a firmer idea (but of course, i know, never completely “firm” as i’ve learned when it comes to this process!) about the country i may be going to. i feel silly to seek you out and ask, i really do, but if it means the difference between having my family’s blessing on this or not, i’m prepared to face a bit of “who does this guy think he is?” sentiment from you about me.. so.. would you happen to know of any volunteer bunches that are planning to arrive in february that would include secondary math teachers??
